AGRO SHOP

Our positive footprint in the agricultural inputs segment has made it necessary for the
business to improve on logistics in order to benefit that value chain and be more
competitive.
This shop is located at 1 st Avenue, lot 235 Matsapha Industrial Sites. We stock a range of
farming inputs from leading brands, including pesticides and herbicides. We have also
introduced animal feeds. Future plans include veterinary services, and farm produce.
This shop also serves as a strategic collection point for the National Maize Corporation
(NMC) subsidy program.

VARIETIES TESTING
Our goal is to ensure local farmers realise the wonderful benefits of farming as a means to
creating wealth. We partnered with leading leading seed manufacturers, and in
collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture through the Malkerns Research Unit, we are
conducting seed varieties trials at selected sites around the country. The adaptability of
these seeds’ varieties will be authenticated by the mandated authority before any
distribution.

HORTICULTURE
At EPA, we believe in walking the talk. We have decided to make it our goal to go beyond
being a supplier of inputs to playing a part in addressing the food security concerns
prevalent in nationally. We are farming grain, in the form of maize and beans. We are
looking at increasing scale in the coming seasons.
